Carol Jean Erickson, 66, of Willmar died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
She was born April 12, 1940, in Grand Rapids to Jack Lee and Irene Ann (Bloch) Moore. She grew up and attended school in Grand Rapids, and was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith.
She married Charles A. Knott Sept. 21, 1957, in Keewatin. She married Merton A. Erickson June 9, 1984.
For a time, she helped with farming in the Atwater community. From 1988 to 2000, she worked in housekeeping at Rice Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Post 1639 VFW Auxiliary.

Surviving are her children, Keldakay (Dean) Sisk of Cloverdale, IN, Allen, John Knott and Kurt (Jan) Knott, all of Akeley, and Joseph Knott of Willmar; a brother, Ronald (Sandy) Macioszek of Green River, WY, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfathers, Walt Macioszek and Frank Turk, both husbands and a sister, Arlyce Harwood.
Gravesite service: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12 at the Akeley Cemetery with Father Duane Pribula officiating.
