Matthew Thomas Huffman, 24, of Bemidji, has been sentenced for fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim aged 13 to 15, which is a serious felony.
Huffman, who pleaded guilty July 28, was sentenced Oct. 12 by Beltrami County District Court before Judge John Melbye to 45 months in prison and given credit for 400 days served.
He will have a conditional release after confinement for 99 years, or "conditional release after confinement for life," to be served concurrently with a separate case.
Huffman must submit a DNA sample.
He must pay a $111 fine. Restitution was reserved.

A woman on Sept. 7 reported at the Bemidji Law Enforcement Center that her 15-year-old daughter had consensual sex with Huffman on Sept. 6 while in the back seat of his car. Huffman was 23 at the time.
Huffman told police that he had sex with the girl, but that she had told him she was 18. Another girl, who said she was with Huffman and the victim on Sept. 6, said she told Huffman the girl was 15.
Huffman is on probation for a March 2004 conviction for felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a 15-year-old girl.
