There were no injuries this morning when a pickup struck a semi-trailer near Bemidji.
The accident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 71, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. A 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by Sherry Hill, 48, Bemidji, hit the back of a 2000 Kenworth driven by John Speck, 73, also of Bemidji. The road was clear at the time, the patrol said. The pickup sustained severe damage, while the Kenworh had only minor damage.
The accident remains under investigation.
