A rural Detroit Lakes man died in a single vehicle rollover Friday night in Becker County.
Ronald Gene Gillund, 69, died en route to the hospital after being ejected from his vehicle on St, Mary of the Lakes Road south of Becker County 22.
According to the Becker County Sheriff’s Department, Gillund was southbound when his vehicle went into the ditch, hit a mailbox, came back up on the roadway and he lost control again, rolling several times.
The crash, which occutrred at 8 p.m., is under investigation by Becker County and the Minnesota State Patrol.
Gillund was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
