A Florida man suspected of taking his two daughters, ages 6 and 11, against court orders may be headed to northern Minnesota, authorities say.
Edward Peters "took custody of (the girls) against the wishes of their court ordered guardian" last Sunday in Inverness, Fla., the Citrus County Sheriff's Office reported. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension reported Saturday evening that Peters and his daughters, Madison and McKala, may now be traveling in a black 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada, Michigan license plate CNH7211, that was stolen from a campground in Sanilac County, Mich. The BCA said Peters may be headed to northern Minnesota.
Edward Peters has a warrant issued for his arrest and has violated several court orders, the sheriff's office reported. He was on pre-trial release and removed his GPS ankle monitor.

Edward Peters is described as a white male, 45 years old, 5-foot-9 with a medium build and light brown, short hair.
Madison Peters, 11, was last seen wearing jean capris, a pink T-shirt with “Minnesota” written on it and black flip-flops.
McKala Peters, 6, was last seen wearing white shorts with a blue T-shirt with pink graphics on it and black flip-flops.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Peters or the girls is asked to call 911.
