One man was injured Friday afternoon after his all terrain vehicle over-turned rounding a curve. Another rider escaped serious injury.

The Hubbard County Sheriff's Department said it was notified by St. Joseph's Area Health Services that it was treating two people who were involved in an ATV accident on the West Gulch Forest Road in Hendrickson Township in a wooded northern section of Hubbard County

The victims said they lost control on a curve. Both were wearing helmets. The accident occurred just before 6 p.m.

The driver, Jeremy Bollin, 23, of Howard Lake, received a lower back injury and a possible broken collar bone, the Sheriff's department said. The passenger, Jillian Schuette, age 20, of Howard Lake, received no serious injuries. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected as a cause of the accident.
