Arthur G. Gladen
Arthur George Gladen, 92, of Guthrie died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006 at Havenwood Care Center in Bemidji.
He was born Nov. 10, 1913 in Farden Township, Hubbard County. He attended Nary School through the eighth grade then Grand Rapids Agricultural School. He farmed with his father in Farden Township.
He married Joyce Peters Sept. 10, 1941. He farmed all of his life.
He was a member of Malvik Lutheran Church, holding several offices, Farden Township Board, Nary School Board and Malvik Cemetery Board.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Bonnie (George) Benson of Rogers, Rita (Norman) Nelson of Bemidji and Peggy (Ed) Branham of Park Rapids; four sisters, Lena Yost of St. Cloud, Lydia Olson of Bemidji, Violet Naumchik of Minneapolis and Dorothy Nelson of Sun Prairie, WI; son-in-law, Richard Leet; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Carl, James and Gilbert; and six sisters, Clara Johnson, Annie Senn, Hazel Giroux, Gladys Gladen, Helen Masterson and Mary Ellen Bandy.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
Funeral: 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Malvik Lutheran Church with Rev. Arlen Stensland officiating.
Casketbearers: Randy and Jeff Leet, Wayne Nelson, Jess Branham, Larry Dahl and Ron Lease.
Interment: Malvik Lutheran Cemetery.
