Police suspect that nearly a dozen people might have been involved in an alleged inside-job theft ring at Best Buy in Fargo, allowing an estimated $100,000 to be taken from the store.
Adetimisola Ogundipe, a 19-year-old from Fargo, was arrested Tuesday and made a first appearance in Cass County District Court on Thursday. He faces felony charges of accomplice to theft and theft and is being held in the Cass County Jail on bail of $25,000.
The criminal complaint in support of those charges accuses Ogundipe, while a security guard at Best Buy, of allegedly recruiting at least 10 people to help push carts full of electronics out of the store without paying for them.
Police also think that Ogundipe personally took video-game systems and computers valued at more than $5,000 from the store.
The investigation could produce additional arrests, police have said.

Court records state that by the store's estimation, more than $100,000 in high-end goods were taken, and police say about half of that has been recovered.
Ogundipe is set to appear in court April 22 for a preliminary hearing.
