An Akeley woman was treated for minor injuries when her vehicle was rear-ended Wednesday afternoon near Cass Lake.
Cass County Sheriff deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on state Highway 371, four miles south of Cass Lake.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol out of Brainerd:
Amanda K. Bush, 20, of Akeley, was driving north on Hwy 371 when her vehicle was rear-ended as she slowed to make a left turn. Bush was driving a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix, which was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Emmet E. Stemwedel, 43, of Grand Rapids. Stemwedel was driving his vehicle north on Highway 371 when he collided with Bush's vehicle.
Bush was treated at St. Joseph hospital in Park Rapids for minor injuries relating to leg pain.

Stemwedel was reported to have no apparent injuries from the collision.
