A Pine River man faces numerous charges in connection with a vandalism incident late Tuesday night in Akeley.
Officers found the man sometime after 11 p.m. riding a stolen bike on the Heartland Trail, said Hubbard County Sheriff Cory Aukes.
The man drove over ground near the Akeley water tower earlier and struck a corner sign, destroying the signpost and the street light.
Aukes said the 18-year-old faces charges of Fourth Degree DWI, minor in possession, leaving the scene of an accident and damage to public property.
