Aileen "Al" M. Kiefert, 79, of Menahga died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga.
She was born March 3, 1927 to Earl and Beulah (Krug) Mosier in Gary, IN. She attended public school in Gary.
She married Victor M. Nohr Feb. 12, 1944 in Gary. They had two children. She worked as a waitress, clerk for a dry cleaners and as a credit manager for Spiegel Catalog Co. In 1965, she moved to Valley City, ND.
She married Orlin Arthur Kiefert Oct. 23, 1965 in Valley City. In the late '60s she began a 13-year career working as a clerk in the Barnes County auditor's office and later the county treasurer's office. She later did bookkeeping for the family business. In 1990, they retired to Menahga.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Donna (Bob) Schofield of Bargersville, IN; son, James (Betty) Nohr of Denver, CO; two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband in 1963, and three sisters, Marge, Joan and Margaret.
Funeral: Wednesday, June 14 at Cardini-Behrens Funeral Home in Menahga with Rev. Loren Ferch officiating.
Casketbearers: Orlin Kiefert, Donna and Bob Schofield, James, Betty and Debbie Nohr and Ray Putnam.
Interment: Menahga City Cemetery.
