A potato truck rolled over and trapped the occupant inside at approximately 5:03 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, according to a Hubbard County dispatch incident report.

A Minnesota State Patrol crash report put the crash at 5:04 p.m. near the 42-mile marker on State Hwy. 87 in Straight River Township.

According to the MSP, the accident happened when a 1993 International 4000, driven by Fatima Sanjuana Martinez, 34, of Weslaco, Texas, was westbound on Hwy. 87. The truck’s load shifted, the driver tried to correct and the truck rolled over.

Martinez was transported to CHI St. Joseph’s Health with non-life threatening injuries. According to the MSP, Martinez was not wearing a seat belt, and airbags did not deploy.

Road conditions were dry and alcohol was not involved, the MSP report states. The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
