The Headwaters Center for Lifelong Learning will not have its scheduled program "From Jamestown to Appomattox: A Look at American Slavery" with Norman Leistikow Tuesday. Due to the winter storm and travel advisory warning, the program will now be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 at Northwoods Bank.
Leistikow, will talk about life on the plantations and the general treatment of slaves, including runaways, insurrections and attitudes during that period.
