The Sustainable Farming Association (SFA) and Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship (DGA) are continuing their ongoing series of grazing field days from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Friday, July 19 at Hendrickx Dairy, 16579 County Road 9, Sebeka. 

This free event, which includes lunch, includes paddock viewing, grazing tours and farmer discussion about how Mike and Alida Hendrickx have turned  Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) land into profitable grazing land. 

Other presenters include SFA/DGA central Minnesota coordinator Hannah Molitor, who will discuss DGA and its apprenticeship/master grazier program, and SFA livestock and grazing Specialist Kent Solberg, who will speak on grazing, cover crops and soil health.
