Anneka Elizabeth Davis, 18, of Nevis was killed Friday in a car-tractor collision in White Oak Township.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report, the accident occurred at 11:22 a.m. when a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice driven by an unidentified 17-year-old male was eastbound on 190th St. and crested the hill at 335th Ave. The Caprice collided with a westbound farm tractor that was pulling a haybine. The car went into the ditch and rolled over.

Davis, a passenger who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered fatal injuries and was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.

Another passenger in the car, James Anthony Geschwill, 19, of Akeley was transported to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries. Geschwill was not wearing a seat belt during the accident.

No injury information about the Chevy's juvenile driver was released, but he was not transported to a medical facility. However, the driver was wearing a seat belt.

Uninjured was Mark Lee Gunkel, 55, of Akeley, who was driving a 1960 Farmall 460 tractor pulling a 1960 Holland 488 haybine.

Personnel from the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash scene.
