19-year-old dies in one vehicle accident near Park Rapids

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s is investigating a fatal car crash early Saturday north of Park Rapids.
The sheriff's office received a report at 6:25 a.m. Saturday of a one vehicle accident on 190th Street, one mile northwest of Park Rapids. Officers arrived to find a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe upside down and on its roof. Avery Mikel, 19, of Park Rapids was pinned under the vehicle and died at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff's office, which did not release any additional information at this time.
