A chase that wound through Otter Tail County backroads and reached a speed of 100 mph ended with a foot pursuit in Wadena Monday morning after the suspect crashed.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office said Jason Jensen, 23, of Dilworth, led a chase that reached more than 100 miles per hour early Monday. The Henning Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle in Henning for suspicious activity when the driver allegedly sped away, the OTCSO said in a news release.
The chase was on.
Wadena Police Department Sgt./Investigator Tom Crawford said the pursuit took place over county roads, through dirt roads and back in cornfields. The OTCSO joined in as the suspect was near Otter Tail County Roads 50 and 67.
The driver entered Wadena from the west on State Highway 29, and lost control of the vehicle near M State Wadena, crashing at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and 5th Street, where he went in the westbound ditch. Jensen allegedly fled on foot.

"We ended up finding him in a garage on Second and Bryant," Crawford said.
He was found about 20 minutes after the crash, Crawford said, and was then taken into custody.
