10-year-old Bejou boy injured in ATV crash

A 10-year-old Bejou, Minn., boy was injured when he drove an ATV out of a ditch on U.S. Highway 59 at mile marker 306 and struck the passenger side of a pickup heading north, according to the state patrol.

A 10-year-old Bejou, Minn., boy was injured when he drove an ATV out of a ditch on U.S. Highway 59 at mile marker 306 and struck the passenger side of a pickup heading north, according to the state patrol.

Caleb Holland was treated and released after he drove out of the east ditch heading west on a 2009 Polaris RZRS 800 and struck a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Gary Gelting, 70, of Cohasset, Minn. Neither Gelting nor his passenger, Ella Gelting, 68, also of Cohasset, were injured in the accident.

The state patrol was assisted by Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office and Mahnomen Ambulance.
