Abby Morris is the November 2021 student of the month at Park Rapids Area High School.

The daughter of Amy and Aaron Morris, Abby has been involved in tennis, basketball, softball, BPA and the National Honor Society. She plans to attend college either to follow the physician’s assistant track or to major in accounting.

Business teacher Angie Kuehn said, “Abby had a great tennis season and is an excellent student. She even worked on her accounting at home because she was bored. That made my day! She is an excellent role model in the classroom and on the court.”

Teacher Matt Brandt said, “Abby is a team leader that will put others before herself. Her determination is contagious, and she is willing to go the extra mile for her team to be successful. She is a compassionate person who is willing to help whenever there is a need. Her ability to balance being a three-sport athlete and excel in academics is a testament to her character and the willingness to put the work and effort in to be successful. She is very deserving of this award. Congratulations, Abby.”

English teacher Kerry Johnson said, “Abby is a hard worker who doesn't back down from a challenge. She is very conscientious and asks for help when needed. She can juggle all her activities and still earn top grades; that takes some real skill. Congrats, Abby.”

Math teacher Dan Etter said, “Abby is one of the most studious, hardworking students I've ever had in class. Athletically or academically, she always gives one hundred percent. On top of that, she's a great kid and a great leader in our school.”
