While the Park Rapids Area Library remains closed to the public, they will begin offering contactless curbside pickup on Wednesday, April 15.
This service will be available by appointment only. Hours of service will be limited to Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Patrons can request materials using the online catalog at krls.org, by emailing parkrapids@krls.org , or by calling 732-4966. Once you’ve received notification that your materials are ready, call the library to make an appointment. Further instructions will be given at that time.
Beginning April 15, all returns must be deposited in the dropbox on the east side of the building. For the safety of library employees and patrons, all materials returned to any Kitchigami Regional Library System (KRLS) building will be quarantined for 48 hours before being checked in.
Although the building is closed and curbside hours are limited, the library continues to provide eServices, free Wi-Fi and virtual programming. For library updates, KRLS website (krls.org) or visit Park Rapids Area Library on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. To receive the library’s e-newsletter, email parkrapids@krls.org and request that you be added to the list.

“Thank you for your patronage and your patience. We miss you all and look forward to a time when we can safely open our doors and invite you in. For now, stay safe, wash your hands, and call your neighbors to make sure they’re okay,” said branch manager Jodi Schultz.
