Chef John Michael Lerma will be a celebrity judge in the third annual pie-baking contest that will take place beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 4 at Beagle Books in Park Rapids. Participants can bring in their pies until noon when the judging will start. Other judges this year will be author Will Weaver, Helen Peterson and chef Tom Geraedts.
