North Wind Clarinets play Noon Hour Concert

The ensemble will perform a variety of musical styles June 30 at Calvary Lutheran Church.

The Noon Hour Concert Series presents the North Wind Clarinets from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Thursday, June 30 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids.

Members of the ensemble are Deane Johnson, Beth Hahn, Vicki Magnuson, Peg Rickert and Sarah Sundeen. The group plays a variety of music from classical to jazz and popular music, arranged for a variety of clarinets.

The concert is free. A freewill offering will be taken to help defray the performers’ expenses.

Influences on the singer and acoustic guitarist include classical, blues, gospel, country, rock and folk music and the indigenous singers of Taiwan.
