NLOC hosts gala to kick off summer season

The Northern Light Opera Company’s gala Thursday night had a 1940s theme and featured many songs from “Guys and Dolls,” which will be presented in July and August.
The gala was at Blueberry Pines Golf Club and many people dressed to impress in 1940s inspired clothing.
Present and past NLOC singers entertained and people had the opportunity to play games and enjoy some hearty hors d'oevres.
The theme was “Stand Up and Rock the Boat.”
