With families adjusting their holiday plans this year, Rebecca Penning’s kindergarten class at Century Elementary School comes to the rescue sharing excellent turkey recipes to make the holiday extra fun, even if you can’t be with family as usual. Take some inspiration from these kindergartners as they reveal their famous recipes.

Kennady Anstine: Twist up the wings, cook the butter, and put the salad in the middle of the turkey. Tie the legs up and then put onions, celery, and carrots in a big white pan. Then you should put some of that stuff on the turkey. Put it in the oven for 15 pounds.

Adam Becker: Buy a turkey at Hugo’s. Put some butter on it and salt, hot sauce, and ketchup. Turn the oven on and cook it for 20 minutes.

Elijah Black: Buy a turkey at Walmart. Melt butter in a pan and paint the butter the on the turkey. Put pepper on it and put rope on the feet. Cook it for 3 minutes @ 3 hot. Put some good, good, good oreos on top.

Matthew Boyd: Dad will shoot the turkey. Mom bought one instead. Add some chicken seasoning and shredded cheese. Put it in the oven for 3 hours at 60 degrees.

Skye Cloutier: Buy a turkey at Hugo’s and cook it. Mommy usually puts salt and pepper on it and we usually put on some turkey sauce. Tomatoes for mom’s part, not for me. Then we bake it in the oven and eat it and it is so delicious!

Colton Nilson: Get a turkey from Coborn’s. Cook it in the oven for 40 minutes. It should be 14 degrees. You need some seasoning sauce and salt and sugar – it doesn’t matter what kind.

Brooklyn Oswald: Buy a turkey at Walmart. Put it in the oven at like 5 hot for one day. You should put rainbow sprinkles on it.

Brynlee Price: Go to the meat store and pick out a turkey. Put on salt and pepper and hot sauce. Then maybe put it in the oven for maybe 20 minutes. Turn the oven to 10 hot. Check on it and just in case it burns check on it over and over again.

Cecilia Quinn: First buy a turkey from Coborn’s. Then get a type of sauce and then like put salt and pepper on it and put it in the oven for 40 degrees per second and then it’s going to taste good. When it’s done you put it on a big tray and then it’s going to taste super good!

Troy Schilling: Get a turkey at Walmart. Put on hot sauce and barbeque. Put it in the oven for 10 hours. The oven should be really hot. Put salt on it when you eat it.

Kaidence Silbernagel: Go to the meat store and buy a turkey. Buy some garlic, a little pepper. Put a little bit of salt in the little body. Put it in the oven for 3 hours at medium hot. Put those leaf things and the garlic in the middle of the turkey. Then eat it!

Nolan Tompkins: Go to Hugo’s and buy a medium turkey. Put that stuff in it – I can’t remember what it is. Maybe bake it in the microwave for I think maybe 15 or 16 minutes. It should get maybe 55 degrees hot. Maybe make a little bit of slippery sauce to put on the turkey.

Lucy Wallenberg: I would get a turkey from Coborn’s. The topping would be salt and pepper. I would put the turkey in my oven for 15 minutes at 9 degrees. You can add strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries around the edges.
