Meanwhile, second grader Kiera Demoret wrote an original bit of poetry for her little brother, Charlie, who’s 3, circling her rhymes. “I got a Valentine for my brother, I got it because I love him. I showed it to my mother. She said, ‘he’ll love it.’ ‘I hope so,’ I said. During this time of year he doesn’t throw a fit. It is a mug and it has a heart. I hope when I show it to him, he’ll give me a hug!”
