Start sorting through those adorable photos of your dog or cat. The fourth annual Headwaters Animal Shelter pet photo contest begins May 1. The contest runs throughout the summer, with the public voting for favorite pictures at community events and online.
Winning photos will be featured in the shelter's 2011 pet calendar. The first place winner appears on the cover, and earns the coveted title of "Headwaters Cover Model." Twelve more lucky dogs or cats will each win their own month. All entrants will appear in the calendar.
