The Crazy Quilters' "Quilts in the Pines" exhibit is now on display at the Nemeth Art Center, with vintage to modern works hanging in the Great Gallery.An outdoor quilt display will be Saturday, Aug. 6 with a reception for quilters from 2 to 4 p.m. Noon "BYO lunch" programs are scheduled Tuesdays with the artisans sharing knowlege.Jackie Willms, above, will explain the history of Baltimore Album Quilts Aug. 9. The hand-appliqued, hand-quilted piece above, Birdie's Flowers, is an example of her work that was years in the making.Aug. 16, Judy Dulski and Verna Grittith will address tools of the trade in Gizmos and Gadgets. Charlotte Peterson will share info on cleaning, storing, folding and preserving quilts Aug. 23. A queen-size Woodland Sunset quilt will be raffled. The Nemeth Art Center is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
