Evelyn Mildred Beckerleg, 83, of Dilworth, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, N.D.
She was born Sept. 8, 1925 in Adrian, N.D. to David William "Bill" Dally and Grace (Fliescher) Dally.
On Aug. 25, 1945 she married Johnie E. Beckerleg in Marion, N.D. Shortly after they married, they moved to Fargo, N.D. and lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area for 63 years. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she belonged to Catholic Daughters and Christian Mothers. She remained an active member of a homemakers group where she was a charter member of their bowling league. She was a 37-year breast cancer survivor.
She is survived by her husband; five children: Dennis (Mary), of Moorhead, Diane (Dewey) Olson, of Moorhead, Mark (Rebecca), of Baxter, Judy (Jay) Stillwell, of Breckenridge, and Casey (Carolyn), of West Fargo, N.D.; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters: Elsie Klug, of LaMoure, N.D., Helen Dally, of Montpelier, N.D., and DeLoras Greer, of McAllen, Texas; and one brother, Warren "Bud" Dally, of Pinehurst, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by four sisters: Ruby, Wilma, Marion (Tony), and Marjorie; and two brothers: Lester and Arthur.

Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Monday, June 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 28, with a prayer service at 6 p.m., at Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
