"Unpolished," a local Park Rapids bluegrass band as seen on Lakeland PBS "Backroads," will perform Thursday, June 20 at Faithbridge Church for the Noon Hour Concert Series.

Playing an eclectic mix of roots, Americana and bluegrass on bass, guitar, mandolin and banjo — complete with rich three-part harmonies — the group covers many styles of folk music, including music from the 1800s through Civil War, old cowboy music, railroad songs, bluegrass and traditional gospel.

The band consists of members Dave Karam, Sheldon Schiebe, Dick Max and Mark Bridge. They will be joined by Jeff Menten on violin and mandolin for the Noon Hour Concert, which is from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.

The audience is invited to bring lunch to eat before the concert. Beverages and bars will be served.
