Nationally acclaimed singer songwriter performing for Heartland Concert Series
Mack Bailey is set to play Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. for the Heartland Concert Association. The performance will be held at the Park Rapids Area High School auditorium.
As an accomplished guitar player, Bailey accompanies himself in a wide-ranging program of folk, pop, humorous and original songs, including such familiar tunes as "Misty," "Sunny Side of the Street," "Danny Boy" and a host of other fun songs, plus some of his more serious, original compositions.
Orginally hailing from the small town of Troy, N.C., Bailey attended the North Carolina Schools of the Arts and graduated with a degree in music performance.
Beside performing solo, composing and recording eight albums, he is musically active in several medical causes, including individual outreach in Alzheimer’s units. Bailey continues to enjoy working with school students on songwriting in their creative writing classes.
Admission is by season ticket or by contacting Bobbi Zigmant at 732-9293 or Marshall Howe at 699-3230.
