Friends of the Headwaters is a grassroots non-profit organization working to protect the Mississippi Headwaters and Minnesota’s aquifers, wild rice, wetland and lake country from Enbridge’s oil pipelines.
Hailed by everyone from Dave Von Ronk to Doc Watson, Dakota Dave blends jazz, ragtime, folk, blues and western swing.
Pop Wagner is widely celebrated as a singer, picker, fiddler, lasso twirler, poet and downright funny guy.
Bob Douglas played mandolin and spoons with the “Prairie Home Companion” Powdermilk Biscuit Band and still plays with local bands.
Finn Hall comprises award-winning musicians dedicated to preserving the feel and sounds of historic Finnish-American dance halls.
