Arts Learning grants are available for public and charter schools, community education programs, local government and tribal entities, nonprofits or groups with a fiscal sponsor providing arts education.

These grants for up to $6,000 support high-quality arts education for Minnesotans of all ages. Funded activities must be open to the general public. Parochial schools are not eligible. No cash match is required.

To be eligible, projects must be learning focused, have a strong community component and benefit the residents of Hubbard, Beltrami, Clearwater, Lake of the Woods or Mahnomen counties. Proposals must be realistic, adaptive to restrictions due to the global pandemic and adhere to state mandated COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines.

The Region 2 Arts Council will host an online information session at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 via Zoom about the grant.
