Fourteen-year-old Kyrsten Sauser said a mid-winter vacation to Las Vegas last year transformed her life.  That’s where she watched and visited with spray paint artists, mesmerized by the results they were getting with their nozzles.  She came home to Nevis and tried it out. But it’s not like art was a recessive gene in her family. She comes from a line of talented artists. Mom Kris (with help from her husband) makes raku pottery, which was on full display last weekend during Art Leap, an event in which 14 regional artists opened their shops to visitors, sold their works and demonstrated their talents.  The freshman student was displaying her solar system art work at the Creative Minds Art Studio, run by her folks, who also own and operate Owl’s Nest Resort.
