Be an inspiration in the new year by sharing what inspires you. Create a picture, poster or other piece of art. Share something an author has said in a book, article, interview or video that has inspired you. Your project can be as simple or as intricate as you want – handwritten on a notecard or incorporated into a piece of art. It can be as small as 5 inches by 7 inches or as large as 16 inches by 20 inches. You can use any materials you choose as long as they can be affixed to a bulletin board.

People of all ages are invited to participate. Art can feature inspiration from authors of all genres, both children’s and adults.

Completed projects will be displayed in the children’s area at the library. Artists can request that their art be returned to them after it is displayed.

All are invited to participate in a Zoom “Art Share” Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Submission deadline for completed projects is Saturday, Feb. 27.

Remember: art is personal, and no two people express themselves in exactly the same way. Follow your heart and your creation will be beautiful. We can’t wait to be inspired!
