Park Rapids Fire Department to hold 9/11 rememberance

The Park Rapids Fire Department will have a large display at the fire hall all day long on Saturday, Sept. 11 to honor the victims lost on 9/11.

The Park Rapids Fire Department will have a large display at the fire hall all day long on Saturday, Sept. 11 to honor the victims lost on 9/11.

The Park Rapids Fire Department will have a large display at the fire hall all day long on Saturday, Sept. 11 to honor the victims lost on 9/11.

"We will be reading off the names of those that perished that day starting at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the fire hall. Each time one of the planes crashed that day, we will have our sirens go off in remembrance," said firefighter Crystal Krautkremer.

This tribute is open to the public. Guests may watch or simply drive by.
