In lieu of its annual open house, the Park Rapids Fire Department will hold a car wash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27.
Freewill donations will be accepted. Patrons are asked to enter the parking lot from 8th Street so everyone can exit onto U.S. Hwy 71 for ease of flow.
“Come out and support your local fire department in our newest fundraiser that will allow us to see you from a distance and have fun at the same time,” said firefighter Crystal Krautkremer. “It’s going to be fun and we would love to see how many vehicles we can get washed. Show us what you've got. We are ready to tackle anything.”
