He was delivered by Dawn Dahlgren-Roemmich, certified nurse midwife at Tri-County Health Care in Wadena. Proud grandparents are Lorraine and Francis Lajeunesse; and Kylee Payne.
Mike and Vicki Stewart of Park Rapids, MN are celebrating 50 years of marriage. They were married on March 18, 1972 at Immanuel American Lutheran Church in Fulda, MN. They have three children: Kari (Ross) Reiffenberger, Kelli (Matt) McGovern, and Kendra (Andy) Geeslin. They are blessed with seven grandchildren. We would like to express our gratitude to all who have shared our sorrow over the loss of our wife, mother, sister, grand and great-grandmother, and friend, Charlene Wilmes. We have been blessed and comforted by your prayers and kind words, cards and flowers, and memorial and monetary gifts. Your presence at Charlene’s memorial service was a gift to us in our grief. We know that she was dearly loved and will be missed.

Baby boy Thaddeus Osmund Freeman Bervig was born on February 16, 2022, to Jennifer and Eric Bervig of Park Rapids. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was delivered by Dr. Shaneen Schmidt at Tri-County Health Care in Wadena. He has seven brothers and four sisters. Proud grandparents are Terese Bervig and Marcia Freeman.
We would like to express a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to the Park Rapids and Carsonville fire departments and other emergency personnel for the quick and professional response to the fire we had in our logging business shop last week. The weather alone posed a risk to everyone! Thank you to Tiny and the employees of Northland Lumber who made a late delivery of materials to close up what was left of the shop so water lines wouldn’t freeze. We appreciate everyone else who offered help and support in any way!

She was delivered by Dr. Ross Anderson at Tri-County Health Care in Wadena. Proud grandparents are Sharon, Joe, Bruce, Jeff, Amelia and Penny.
Brandi Christensen & Mitchell Burdick, of Park Rapids, Minn., are happy to announce the birth of their son, Liam Mitchell Burdick. Liam was delivered by Dr. Kailey Witt at Perham Health on January 18, 2022, at 10:11 a.m. He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches long. Liam is welcomed home by grandparents Holly; Cheri & John; Jen & Dave; and Jim; and great-grandparents Pat Prochazka; Betty Gruenewald; and Judy & Jim Widmyer.

I would like to thank doctors Harris and Lageson and all the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for the excellent care I received for my 27 days staying with Covid 19. Your kindness and your skills were greatly appreciated and a large factor in my recovery. God bless all of you and the wonderful work you do.
