Truth Matters

This letter is paid content. So now we know Trump was told in January that COVID-19 posed a serious threat to our nation. With this knowledge he downplayed the virus, calling it a “hoax”. He knew this was a lie, but so many times the lie is his first response to problems.

More than 190,000 Americans have since died from the pandemic.

How many of these victims would still be alive if the President’s response had been real leadership rather than denial? All he had to do was follow the guidance of the world’s best physicians which were given to him. Also how many more will die before he, and those who parrot him, begin to care enough about their neighbors to follow the simple steps needed to control this plague’s spread?

The truth matters and real leaders face the truth.
