Join Minnesota photographer and author Dana Holm as he shares stories and images of Itasca State Park from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center. Enjoy a slide presentation of images like these from his book Itasca State Park. Holm will share the special stories connected to the images of Minnesota's most cherished state park. The presentation will be followed by a book signing. This presentation is in conjunction with the 22nd Annual Ozawindib Walk, sponsored by Friends of Itasca State Park.
Born and raised in northern Minnesota, Dana Holm was introduced at an early age to learning about nature and wildlife by experiencing it first hand. His inspiration for a photographic essay on Itasca State Park began as a result of yearly family visits to the park. Some of his earliest memories are from these adventures in Itasca.
