Country music star Merle Haggard will return to perform at 8 p.m. July 9 at Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, Minn.
Haggard, who sold out a show at the Shooting Star in June 2008, has a career that's lasted more than 40 years. From his rough-and-tumble early years to a Grammy Award and collaborations with Willie Nelson and George Jones, this consummate performer has cemented his place among the greats, a news release said.
His classic hits include "Okie from Muskogee," "Workin' Man's Blues" and "Mama Tried."
