The Rotary Club of Park Rapids, along with the Park Rapids Area Schools, invite the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Rotary Fitness Park at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26.
The park is located on Helten Ave., south of the Century School tennis courts.
The Fitness Park is a joint project of the Park Rapids Area Schools and the Rotary Club of Park Rapids. The purpose of the park is to promote and teach wellness and exercise to area students while offering an outdoor exercise facility to the community.
Each piece of equipment has detailed instructions for use along with videos that can be downloaded to a smartphone. Each station is designed for all levels of exercise from the first time user to advanced users.
