Chairperson Safratowich Called the Meeting to order. Members present and order to vote were Carlson, Dodge, Hoyt, Pike, Safratowich, & Gauldin. Principals Jeff Johnson, Shawn Andress and Joleen DeLaHunt were present, along with Superintendent Lance Bagstad, Business Manager Kent Fritze, as well as staff and community members.

HEARD Presentation - Benchmark & FASTBridge Presentation - We are working on how we assess our children and this will be the tool we use to assess our children K-8. It will be great to have the same assessment for each student for 9 years of their school years. Middle school level is looking at how to overcome so assessment challenges. Some are One on One assessments some are whole class assessments. Can work on individual skills with students and keep them on track and keep them moving forward.
HEARD Presentation - High School Science Curriculum- Looking at Student interaction and hands on activities. We are hoping to get kids up and moving to keep them interacting. New Microscopes, New boards, New online curriculum.

HEARD Monthly Superintendent Report- The pavilion at the rotary park is being put up. We are happy to hear that we will have a 2% and 2% increase for the next two years. Working to try and figure out how we can fund having a SRO in the building at all times.
HEARD Monthly Business Manager Report- Award. Finalizing last year's budget and this years. MIST for the insurance. Bread, Milk bid will be opened Friday.
HEARD Monthly Principals' Report
DeLaHunt- Thanks for a great Field Day last Friday. We had 3rd and 4th grade concerts. Kindergarten Graduation on Thursday. We are working on Schedules and staffing for next years. We will have the Senior walk one Wednesday.
Johnson - Invite you to graduation on Sunday at 2:00. 98 Graduates this year and we have 90 walking at graduation. ALC students that won't be walking for various reasons. Scholarship program student we able to receive Approx. $42,000 from local agencies and the college and regional scholarships totaled Approx. $900,000. We have a few changes being made many walls going down or up to accommodate the incoming students. Thank you to Alan and the custodians who are working hard to get all of this done for us.
Andress- May is packed full of stuff with choir and band concerts along with lots of field trips. We have a schedule for 2019- 2020 school year. We are working on getting our 7th and 8th graders their Hex Classes. We are planning our Year End celebrations.
HEARD Monthly Activities Director Report - Great Athletic Banquet last week. Sections softball will be here all the way through. Clay target won midstate conference last week. Thanks Al and Paul for all the work on our fields and outside.
HEARD Monthly Community Education Report- We are at 76 in our VPK classroom. Summer programming is coming along. We are encouraged to write a grant for the Middle School summer program. Taking a group to Ely next week for many fun activities.
HEARD Monthly Facilities Director Report- Working on Walls, Rooms, and grounds.
HEARD Monthly Special Education Directors - We are waiting to see how the ADSIS grant is going to move forward. We are working on getting all of our hiring for Special Ed positions filled.
