Jeremiah James Korfe will be in concert at the Sounds of Spirit Lake outdoor concert series Friday, Aug. 12.

The 7 p.m. concert is held on the shores of Spirit Lake in Menahga, rain or shine. The rain venue at the Menahga Public School. Bring a lawn chair.

Food and beverages are provided on site by the United Methodist Church of Menahga to support their outreach programs.

Dividing his time between writing, recording, touring and farming, Korfe has charm and passion that play well on the stage and beyond.

He has toured with his band nationally with The X Games and been featured on TV and print commercials with Harley Davidson, Budweiser and Crown Royal.

He was the winner of season three of CMT’s “Sweet Home Alabama.” Korfe was invited to ACM and CMT’s Music Awards. He has been a Top 10 winner when his “Fearless Gal” video hit No. 6 on’s “Most Popular Artist” and stayed on the Top 10 for six weeks. He was winner of the Sturgis Main Stage gig.

Korfe remains very active on his family farm in his hometown of Clarissa, Minn.

Graduating from college with a degree in music, Korfe mastered the guitar, piano and drums. In grade school, he took several years of violin lessons.

From his early years performing in Los Angeles he moved to Nashville where he spends winters recording.

His unique blend of country and rock is a catchy tribute to farmers and country living. While still running his farm, the songs come from a genuine reality of what country is all about.

This concert series is funded, in part, by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
