It’s time for teams, individuals, businesses, civic organizations and church groups to sign up for the Chili Challenge. All proceeds go to the Hubbard County Food Shelf.
Volunteers packed 70,000 meals at Eastside Christian Church in Park Rapids to distribute to area food pantries and other organizations serving those in need.
Lamb Weston/RDO Frozen, the local potato processing facility, and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company of Minneapolis, general contractor for the recent expansion at the facility, presented a joint donation of $1,000 to Bob Hansen, executive director of the Hubbard County Food Shelf on March 18.
