A recent Lamb Weston food drive, led by sanitation team leader Beth Gleason, resulted in a donation of $1,523 and 90 pounds of food to the Hubbard County Food Shelf.

More than 400 people work at the Lamb Weston/RDO Frozen potato processing facility in Park Rapids. According to a press release, the Lamb Weston Foundation fights global hunger through its regional partners and a national partner, Share Our Strength.

The Hubbard County Food Shelf has been a primary recipient of the local plant’s food drive proceeds for many years.
