The Forest Riders Snowmobile Club's fifth annual Ride for Hospice raised $6,400 for CHI St. Joseph's Health Hospice Care.

The club's annual event raises funds in honor or in memory of loved ones. All proceeds from a raffle go toward the Hospice's Compassion Fund, benefiting patients and loved ones facing end-of-life issues.

On March 1 and 2, snowmobile riders and groups on the hospice ride could stop at up to 16 participating businesses and purchase a $5 raffle ticket for prizes donated by the businesses. The club itself donated $1,000 in cash prizes for the three drawing winners.
