WILLMAR — A 74-year-old Willmar man, who was convicted of trying to lure three girls into his vehicle in 2011, has been charged with felony kidnapping and false imprisonment after he allegedly tried to pull a 10-year-old girl into the men's restroom Wednesday afternoon at the Willmar Target. Jesus Diaz made his first court appearance Friday, July 27, in Kandiyohi County District Court with bil set at $200,000.
WILLMAR, Minn. — U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson doesn't have much hope that a new Farm Bill will be passed before Congress goes into recess this summer. Instead it is more likely that the current Farm Bill will be extended, locking in place most of the farm programs and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program until a new bill can be passed. "It shouldn't be this way," Peterson said during a visit Wednesday, May 30, to the Willmar West Central Tribune.
