On March 14, 2015 at 5:31 p.m., the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an ATV crash located on County Road 9, west of Becida. As deputies arrived, they found 22 year old Louis Neil Swanson of St. Cloud injured in the ditch. The investigation showed that Swanson was riding a Honda Rancher ATV in the ditch, when he struck a culvert located at an approach.He was thrown from the machine where he sustained head and shoulder injuries. He was airlifted to Essential Health in Fargo.

BY Sarah smith email@example.com Falls continue to bedevil health care institutions and CHI St. Joseph’s Health is no different. The annual list of Adverse Health Events in Minnesota is out. It collects detailed information on more than 2,500 events at all 142 hospitals and 70 ambulatory surgical centers in the state. St. Joe’s did the same as last year, with three separate events, including two falls. None of the events resulted in deaths, but the two falls resulted in serious injuries.

A huge pile of lumber from a damaged or vandalized fish house mars the landscape on Fish Hook Lake. Hubbard County Sheriff Cody Aukes said DNR and local officials are trying to determine whose mess the house is, to get them to clean it up. “People need to clean up after themselves,” he said.
