WILLMAR, Minn. — Law enforcement officers have entered the home in Willmar to apprehend a 19-year-old man suspected of stabbing a woman this morning at the home. According to Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt, a 64-year-old woman was stabbed just after 8 a.m. this morning and ran to a neighboring residence to seek help. She was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. She was expected to be airlifted by Life Link helicopter to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

LONGVILLE, Minn. – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office said a fishing boat capsized near here Wednesday, drowning one man and forcing the other to swim for shore. Otter Tail Deputy Jim Iverson said deputies responded Wednesday at about 1:19 p.m. to a report of a man drowning after his boat capsized. Investigators found that the boat had capsized while fishing, leaving two men in the water.

A new study on risky teen behavior released last week contains both good and bad news – along with a message. On the positive side, American teens are smoking less, drinking less and fighting less. Among the findings: Fewer than 16 percent of the 13,000 U.S. high school students surveyed smoked a cigarette in the previous month, the lowest level since the survey began in 1991.
