Police here are waiting for autopsy results for clues to why a 51-year-old woman drove into the Park River Saturday. Rescue teams found the body of Carolina Mendoza inside her vehicle in the river late Saturday.

One man is dead after hitting a train on the 2000 block 60th Avenue South in Moorhead. Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist says the man was driving eastbound on 60th Avenue when he struck the train just before 9 a.m. Saturday. GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Investigators are asking why a 21-year-old airman walked into a Wal-Mart in south Grand Forks Tuesday and shot two employees before turning the gun on himself.
